Can you do that here?

What rights and freedoms do the world's countries offer their citizens? Do all countries have constitutions? How does the legal system in Alabama compare to California?
Ever wonder how the different political systems in other countries compare to ours? The Legal Systems of the World (Ref 340.03 K899) looks at the political, social, and cultural systems in each country, and individual states in the United States. It explores how the judicial system of Bulgaria works, and what makes Yemen's government unique when compared to Saudi Arabia. It looks at a comparison of criminal procedures, country by country. It tells you what types of law a democratic government can implement for its citizens, and how this differs from, for example, Islamic law. This is a great starting point if you are doing an in-depth study of a country.
