| Faculty Course Reserves
High demand or required viewing/listening media material may be placed on Reserve by faculty for their courses each semester. To place media items on Reserve, fill out a Reserve List Form and return it to the Library Circulation Desk. Videos on Reserve must be viewed by students in the Library.Audio Reserves, unless otherwise specified, may be used in or out of the Library. Use of the Video Reserve material outside of the Library is limited either to the faculty member(s) who placed the material on Reserve, or by special arrangement with the Reserves Manager. Please read Course Reserve Guidelines and visit the Course Reserves homepage for additional information. Borrowing Policies
The Library is responsible for the management of several collections of nonprint materials. These collections include video programs (VHS tapes and DVDs), audio programs (Audio cassettes and CDs), and a collection of 35mm slides.
These collections are managed under specific rules as "Instructional Materials" rather than typical library materials, and are maintained and circulated primarily for use by current faculty, staff and students of Saint Mary's College. Persons with Alumni and Community cards cannot borrow Media materials. Requests for any "exception" to this exclusion may be made to the Head of Access Services. |
