Media Collections

Videos, CDs, CDRoms and some LPs and audio cassettes are available via the Library's online catalog Albert. For alphabetical lists of titles, use the links below. These items are kept and managed by the Circulation Desk on the 1st floor of the Library. Borrowing Privileges and Loan Periods for media materials

  • Byron Bryant Classic Cinema Collection (feature films in video format)
  • Instructional videos (documentaries and single subject programs in vhs format) and Instructional videos (documentaries and single subject programs in dvd format)
  • Audiocassettes for learning languages
  • Poetry Readings and other spoken word recordings (cassettes and CDs).
  • Music recordings (CDs and vinyl LP albums)
  • Multimedia CD-ROMs
  • Transparency (35mm slide) collections including Art and Architecture, Western Civilization, American History.

Finding Media
Search by author, title, or subject. (Searching by author enables retrieval by director, writer, actor, etc).

In Albert (online catalog)

  1. Do a Keyword, Author, or Title search.
  2. When the list of titles appears, click on Limit Search or Modify Search from the buttons at the top of the page.
  3. Choose Location from the drop down menu choices.
  4. Select Media (1st fl).
  5. Click on Limit/Sort items retrieved using above data.
